On Tuesday, Domo released the findings from the fourth annual overview of the habits of the internet’s 3.4 billion users minute-by-minute.
The “Data Never Sleeps” infographic shows that on the whole, multimedia messaging is having a moment. It also points to a number of other interesting trends and examples of online social habits, such as:
- Emojis say it all: Twitter users send more than 9,000 emoji-filled tweets per minute
- We’re constantly connected: Americans use over 18 million megabytes of wireless data every minute
- #YOLO: Nearly 700,000 more Instagram posts are being generated each minute than when Domo created the 2015 report
