Infographic How Music Has Gone MobileTapjoy has just published a new infographic with data on the relationship between mobile devices and music, with insights into the habits of music lovers.

It’s an interesting discussion sparked by the mobile ad network today. For Tapjoy, it’s also a timely piece, as 30 million people just watched the Grammy’s – the award ceremony’s second largest audience in the last 20 years.

Among the telling facts uncovered in Tapjoy’s new report are:

  • 90% of mobile device owners have multiple music apps on their devices
  • 1 in 3 prefer their mobile device over desktop and radio when listening to and discovering new music
  • Almost half of users would request more info about a musician or music after viewing an ad for it on their device.
  • One third of people share music-related photos and info on their social media channels through their mobile device
