According to the findings of a recent study by Incentivibe, online contests and giveaways on your company’s website or landing page can generate a huge spike in email subscribers and, consequently, valuable sales leads.

“Giveaway contests are used to generate periodic buzz,” the Incentivibe team explains, “But, contests have another benefit that is rarely used i.e. their ability to motivate daily targeted visitors to become email leads. The infographic below shows the research results of this benefit.”

Incredibly, pages featuring $500 giveaway contests generate a staggering 700% more email subscribers than corresponding pages that do not offer contests, promotions, or giveaways.
