IAB's Q3 2015 Report Shows Digital Ad Revenues at $15 Billion, An All-Time Quarterly HighThe Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) just issued its Q3 2015 Digital Ad report and it’s a stunner.

U.S. internet advertising revenues hit $15 billion in the third quarter of 2015, making it the highest revenue quarter on record. Issued by the IAB and PwC US, the report confirms a significant 23 percent uptick over Q3 2014 when the record-breaking total was $12.2 billion.

According to IAB, these numbers represent a 5 percent increase from Q2 2015’s $14.3 billion.

“These landmark figures confirm marketers’ confidence in using digital to reach consumers,” said Randall Rothenberg, President and CEO of the IAB.

The ability of marketers to follow people as they move from one digital device to another is part of the reason for the growth.

“Brands and agencies are focusing ever more attention on interactive screens, following consumers as they flock to digital platforms to be entertained, engaged, and informed,” said Sherrill Mane, Senior Vice President, Research, Analytics, and Measurement, IAB.

That’s backed up by PwC US partner David Silverman.

“These numbers demonstrate that digital is a critical part of the marketing mix,” said Silverman. “Brands understand that interactive provides the type of rich, immersive experiences that attract today’s audiences, no matter the environment or time of day.”
