GoldSpot Hits the Spot with miApp Platform

GoldSpot Media, a mobile media technology provider, has unveiled a surprisingly simple yet sophisticated web-based drag-and-drop design studio for app developers.

The platform’s claim to fame lies in its specialty – the ability to create applications and interactive ad campaigns only one time for simultaneous deployment to the web’s many mobile app stores.

Essentially, the platform allows for easier and more efficient app creation by removing time constraining barriers caused by mobile device-specific application development.

For now, miApp supports iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian S60, Android, and Windows Mobile devices. Although nothing is yet confirmed, GoldSpot says it is in talks with multiple international carriers in hopes of pushing out their solution to the most comprehensive extent possible.

According to Tim Hanlon, Executive VP at Publicis Group’s VivaKi Ventures unit: “The miApp platform provides publishers from advertising, retail, finance, media, insurance and many other industries with a cost-effective and simple solution to monetize their content across mobile app stores.”
