An e-commerce site has just created a mobile app to ramp up the ability to shop Black owned businesses.
“PurchaseBlack.com is a new retail mobile app developed to provide customers with curated quality products from Black-owned businesses,” the company says. “The app fulfills the market need for a more user-friendly and fun platform for customers to shop with the knowledge that all products are from 100 percent verified black owned businesses.”
The mobile app has a variety of interesting bells and whistles, including notifications announcing new products, real-time contests, flash sales, special deals, and promotions.
The app allows users to connect to popular social media platforms like Facebook, submit product suggestions, and watch video stories about the products they purchase via the mobile app.
“It should not be so hard to find and buy from high quality Black owned businesses” said Brian AM Williams, CEO of PurchaseBlack.com. “Today everything happens from our phones—Black businesses should be equally as accessible as any other business and that’s what I am bringing with this mobile app—accessibility.”
The PurchaseBlack is available worldwide at no charge free from the iOS app store and Google Play.
