On Thursday, Webalo – the enterprise mobility solutions provider – announced yet another new partnership. This time, it’s with Good Technology.
The partnership, we’re told, reflects the larger MDM partnership strategy the company is rolling out. As MMW has reported in recent weeks, Webalo just recently announced similar partnerships with Symantec, Citrix, and MobileGEN.
Good Technology customers will now benefit from Webalo’s cloud-based, step-by-step, point-and-click configuration platform to create and deploy mobile apps in minutes on the company’s mobility platform known as Good Dynamics.
Webalo has met Good Technology’s secure coding, security testing, and basic security requirements, providing a high level of assurance to IT security management about the effectiveness of Webalo’s security infrastructure to manage apps, devices and content on both iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
“The enterprise mobility management (EMM) market is experiencing significant change as the focus moves from devices alone, to the use of applications and the enterprise data they connect with,” said Chris Hazelton Research Director for Mobile and Wireless at 451 Research. “IT is now under rapidly increasing pressure to deal with the challenge of delivering mobile applications that store, interact with and transmit enterprise data and this partnership between Good Technology and Webalo directly addresses that challenge at the infrastructural level.”
