On Tuesday, Apple released iOS 6.1.2, leaving millions of jailbroken iDevice owners wondering if the update patches the recent high-profile jailbreak.
As a result of the uncertainty, many users are not updating at this time, choosing instead to wait until official word comes with regard to the update’s jailbreak-friendliness..
As expected, the update fixes an Exchange calendar bug capable of diminishing battery life. iOS 6.1.2 (build number 10B146) is available as an OTA update (107mb).
For Apple, this is the second iOS update in a week. Earlier this month Apple released iOS 6.1.1 to provide a fix for the Exchange syncing bug.
At the moment, little else is known of the update which is already one of the day’s top trending topics on Twitter.
