Blast Motion, a company focused on “360-degree athletic improvement through software services, advanced sensor-based motion capture, and swing analysis,” is making news this week.
The company has just announced the addition of Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa to its roster of professional athletes using Blast technology.
Carlos is recognized as a rising star in Major League Baseball and recently earned the American League Player of the Week designation for the second time this season, a provided statement reads.
“With the Blast Motion sensor, I can easily track and analyze my swings,” said Carlos Correa, Houston Astros shortstop. “Seeing my swing data really is the quickest way to make adjustments. The Blast technology helps you improve your game whether you are a pro ballplayer or a kid trying to become one.”
As a Blast Athlete, Carlos will be using the Blast Baseball 360 metrics and video analysis to keep his swing in top shape. He will be sharing swing tips through the app, on the Blast website, and with his fans on social media.
“It’s been amazing to see someone with Carlos’ talent utilize the sensor and implement the swing data for analysis and improvement,” said Justin Goltz, baseball channel manager at Blast Motion. “Following our partnership with MLB®, Carlos was a natural choice to showcase the power of our technology.
