Banff.mobi is very easy to use and the information seems very accurate and up to date. I chose this mobile travel site to review since my family and I were in Banff last summer. I was able to find a lot of the information here on the mobile site that I remember asking the hotel concierge about. Also the Events & Festivals page was up to date.
Best Part:
The amount of information contained on the site is tremendous.
Take Away Lesson for Mobile Marketers:
Mobile travel sites are for travelers who are looking for quick but detailed information abut a destination they are visiting. For them the mobile site is a mini visitors center. Include as many options as you can while still keeping the site organized and easy to use.
Use Click to Call buttons liberally as this will likely be a well utilized tool. Also include addresses, directions and as many links to other sites as possible.
