On Wednesday, the National Association of Counties (NACo) recognized AT&T for its work to promote cyber security public-private partnerships with local county governments.
As a result of these efforts, AT&T was honored with the association’s 2013 Award for Corporate Excellence.
At NACo’s annual legislative conference, AT&T received the award and recognition for its work and support for advancing NACo’s efforts on cyber security.
AT&T serves as a member of the association’s Cybersecurity Task Force and supports on-going education efforts with their members.
“AT&T has been a valued asset in NACo’s efforts to start a dialogue on cyber security with our members, helping raise the level of awareness,” says NACo President, Chris Rodgers. “Our work has only begun and we look forward to AT&T’s continued involvement and leadership on this issue.”
