Not wasting a moment of what’s left of 2012, AT&T this week is flipping the switch on four new markets where the carrier’s 4G LTE coverage is now live.
Giving users a hypothetical download speed of up to 100 megabits per second, AT&T says folks in the following locations can now connect to its 4G LTE network:
- Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvia
- Nashua, New Hampshire
- Grand Rapids, Michigan
- Auburn-Opelika, Alabama
As MMW has been reporting in recent weeks, AT&T and Verizon are duking it out in the race for 4G supremacy. For now, in terms of size and reach at least, Verizon is still winning, with Sprint in a distant third place.
