This week, AT&T expanded its burgeoning 4G LTE network even further in a roll-out of new markets that span the country.
AT&T’s addition of more 4G LTE covered markets comes as a part of the carrier’s ambitious efforts to dramatically augment its 4G LTE cellular network this summer.
The latest cities that have been added to the 4G LTE cellular coverage map include:
- Berwick, Pennsylvania
- Brookings, South Dakota
- Camden, Arkansas
- Cortland, New York
- Dayton, Ohio
- Duluth, Minnesota
- El Dorado, Arkansas
- Flagstaff, Arizona
- Kinston, North Carolina
- Ocean City, New Jersey
- Prescott, Arizona
- Rock Island, Illinois
- Watertown, South Dakota
4G LTE offers a theoretical download speed of about 100Mb/s. Due to the unfortunate realities of network congestion, however, download speeds on 4G LTE in real life situations are more or less 20-60Mb/s.
