Just days ago, AT&T announced plans to launch 4G LTE in another 50 cities in the United States before the end of 2013.
The nation’s second largest carrier has been inching closer to that goal with each passing week. And on Wednesday, AT&T activated 4G LTE access in a handful of new U.S. cities.
Those new 4G locations include the following:
- Champaign, Illinois
- Corning, New York
- Marshall, Texas
- Mayfield, Kentucky
- Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Moultrie, Georgia
- Paducah, Kentucky
- Springfield, Ohio
- Stevens Point, Wisconsin
- Tifton, Georgia
- Tupelo, Mississippi
- Tyler, Texas
Although AT&T’s 4G LTE network is not as large as Verizon’s, the carrier certainly seems bound and determined to catch up faster than most expected.
