AT&T 4G LTE Gets Some ‘Brotherly Love’

The nation’s second largest carrier is showing its subscribers some “brotherly love.”

AT&T said today that its customers in Philadelphia will now benefit from ultra-fast mobile Internet on the latest LTE devices

As of this writing, AT&T has turned on its 4G LTE network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – the so-called “City of Brotherly Love.”

“We continue to see demand for mobile Internet skyrocket, and our 4G LTE network in Philadelphia responds to what customers want from their mobile experience — more, faster, on the best devices,” said J. Michael Schweder, president of AT&T Mid Atlantic.

AT&T maintains that its LTE technology is capable of delivering mobile Internet speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G.

“Customers can stream, download, upload and game faster than ever before, AT&T said in today’s press release.
