Online preorders for Apple’s new iPhone 5 will begin tonight at midnight (pacific time) for Verizon and Sprint.
As of this writing, Apple and AT&T haven’t confirmed the time at which preorders will start Friday, but the masses largely expect midnight to be the magic hour as well.
If online preorders aren’t for you, Apple says preorders can be placed in person at its retail stores starting tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m.
The device will ship September 21st. On that date, the iPhone 5 will arrive in 9 countries. 22 additional countries will get the iPhone 5 a week later.
And by the end of 2012, more than 100 countries will sell the iPhone 5 across some 240 mobile carriers.
