In what comes as news of Apple starting to conquer yet another major market, Apple’s new iPhone 5 – which is all of three months old – has already secured 26.7% of the global LTE device market.
At least that is the claim presented in a new report from Strategy Analytics.
Although Android handset makers have been pumping out countless LTE devices for months now, Apple has managed to garner close to a thirty percent share with only three devices – iPhone 5, Retina iPad, and iPad mini.
Here’s the kicker — Strategy Analytics never said if the iPad is factored into its LTE data. But, in the final analysis, regardless of whether the iPhone 5 stands alone, it remains a staggering achievement for Apple to obtain such a significant market share in such a short period of time.
