Apple Touts Progress, Points to Weaknesses in 2015 Environmental Responsibility ReportApple has just published its 2015 Environmental Responsibility Report.

According to venerable and increasingly environment-conscious iPhone maker, a substantial effort to reduce Apple’s carbon footprint was made last year, though not without a few setbacks.

All told, Apple admits that manufacturing emissions jumped 5% over the past year as a result of the manufacturing jump Apple experienced with its record product output (and corresponding record product sales).

Auspiciously, Apple says all of its US operations are now powered with renewable energy and 87% of its global operations are as well.

“We don’t want to debate climate change. We want to stop it,” Apple explains.
