Apple to Participate in Black Friday Retail Bonanza

Apple will, indeed, attempt to play nice with “Black Friday” this year.

Despite criticisms in past years that the tech giant hasn’t done enough to lower prices and serve up big specials to entice buyers into their nearest Apple store on Black Friday, the company will try to please the masses again on November 25th.

Apple’s Black Friday specials have begun turning up on the company’s international online stores.

But if you’re looking for specifics, you may be disappointed. Apple will only say that consumers will “discover amazing iPad, iPod, and Mac gifts for everyone on your list.”

In 2010, Apple gave shoppers $101 off iMacs, MacBook Pro and MacBook Airs, $41 off the iPad, $21 off iPod touches and $11 of iPod nanos.

But no one will be surprised if Apple’s deal are once against overshadowed by its peers i retail. This year, for example, Best Buy will reportedly sell iPads with a $45 discount and $150 discount on a limited supply of iMacs and MacBooks.
