According to published reports early Wednesday, Apple’s international launch plans for the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are now taking shape.
Japanese publication Nikkei is reporting that Apple will introduce both devices to Japanese consumers on September 20th.
The report notes that cellular carriers SoftBank and KDDI will offer the new devices.
The same report confirms that which we’ve been hearing in the states for quite some time now. The Nikkei’s sources insist that Apple will unveil its newest iPhones at a San Francisco media event on September 10th.
The Nikkei says the 5S will bring the mobile masses an upgraded processor and camera, fingerprint reader, and an expanded selection of device colors.
The iPhone 5C is expected to be Apple’s “plastic” entry-level, low-cost smartphone, which offers fewer features than its “big brother.”
