Two weeks ago, Apple released the first beta of iOS 7 to its expansive community of registered developers.
On Monday, the eagerly anticipated second beta of iOS 7 was seeded.
The update arrives after iOS 7 was formally unveiled at WWDC 2013 on June 10th. This was the first time in the world that the general public was able to see the major design overhaul made to the platform.
Developers who are testing the software can download iOS 7 beta 2 through Software Update in the iPhone’s native Settings application. Apple has said the update contains bug fixes and improvements.
The Cupertino, California-based tech giant also warned users that the second beta “should only be deployed on devices dedicated for iOS 7 beta software development.” The prelease software isn’t intended for use among the general public.
With regard to specific changes made for iOS 7 beta 2, details are still forthcoming.
