Fresh from Apple’s recent iPhone 6, Apple Watch and iOS 8 media blitz, the Cupertino, California-based tech giant is purportedly gearing up to make headlines once again next month.
Mid October, we’re told, is when the iDevice maker will attempt to wow the mobile world again, this time with a refresh of its tablet line-up.
“The company is planning to hold its next event on Oct. 21, where it will unveil two new iPads and announce the release of OS X Yosemite, the next version of its Mac operating system, according to sources familiar with the matter,” Micah Singleton of The Daily Dot reports.
One year ago, on October 22nd, Apple rolled out its iPad Air and second-gen iPad mini.
Following last weekend’s record-breaking preorder launch for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, both iOS 8-powered smartphones will officially become available this Friday.
