On Wednesday, Apple released iOS 8 to the mobile world, just two days before the company’s scheduled launch of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
This year, however, Apple appears poised to welcome more Android newcomers to the iOS ecosystem than during any previous iOS refresh.
Shortly before iOS 8 dropped, Apple published a detailed guide that walks Android users through the switch to iOS.
“Ready to make the switch to iPhone? Here are some tips for moving your photos, music, documents, and more from your Android phone to iPhone,” Apple explains on its website.
Apple has never before dedicated prominent real estate on its official website to helping Android users figure out how to seamlessly bring their content and familiar mobile comforts to iOS.
