On Tuesday, reports surfaced that Apple has secured the professional services of a former top executive at Symantec.
The talent in question is Phillip Bullock.
According to Business Insider, Bullock has been tapped to serve as senior vice president and chief accounting officer at Apple.
“(Bullock) announced he will be leaving the Company to lead the tax department at Apple, Inc., and not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matters relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices,” an SEC filing from Symantec on Tuesday reads.
Cult of Mac reports that Andrew Del Matto, who has been Symantec’s Corporate Treasurer and Vice President of Finance Business Operations for seven years, has replaced Bullock as Symantec’s new Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer.
For the time being, Apple is yet to announce or confirm Bullock’s installment in his new role.
