Apple Boss to Kick off 10th Annual All Things Digital Conference

The CEO of the world’s most profitable company will kick off the festivities this year at the tenth annual “D: All Things Digital” conference.

Apple chief executive officer Tim Cook will be the event’s opening speaker.

The conference is scheduled to begin May 29th at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

According to Kara Swisher, the event will be Cook’s first appearance at D as well as his first non-Apple related media event as Apple CEO.

Steve Jobs last appearance at the conference was in 2010.

“We are looking forward to hearing Cook’s perspective on where the industry and Apple is going, and perhaps to get a glimpse into what makes its new leader — who is also a longtime Apple vet — tick,” Swisher said this week.

As a speaker, Cook joins New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Oracle CEO Larry Ellison and Federal Trade Commission Chairman Jon Leibowitz, to name only a few.
