Apple App Store Revamped for iPhone 5

The Apple App Store got a makeover this weekend.

When the iPhone 5 was announced in September, applications from developers around the globe required updated to run optimally on the new iPhone. Fittingly, the Apple App store itself is now getting up to speed as well.

It goes without saying that version 2.3.2 was updated primarily to add support for Apple’s iPhone 5.

The additional screen space allocated by the iPhone 5’s four-inch display changes the user experience significantly for iPhone owners, as the extra room for looking at content reduces the need for scrolling and lends to a fuller-screen enjoyment of games, video, and a host of digital content.

Apart from the refresh required to support the new-generation iPhone, no other changes were made to Apple’s App store app.
