Validating the rumor mill ahead of last weekend, Amazon on Friday lifted the curtain on what’s next for electronic publishing — a new service called Kindle Unlimited.
For $9.99 per month, Kindle Unlimited is billed as a must for avid readers.
The new subscription service lets customers read as many books as they want from a library of some 600,000 titles – including thousands of audiobooks.
Enjoy best sellers including the Harry Potter series, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Hunger Games trilogy, Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, and Flash Boys.
“With Kindle Unlimited, you won’t have to think twice before you try a new author or genre—you can just start reading and listening,” says Russ Grandinetti, Senior Vice President of Kindle. “We hope you take advantage of the 30-day free trial and try it for yourself.”
