Ace Hardware dealers, among the earliest adopters of the Smart Shopper program from FunMobility, have found enormous success by turning to mobile as a means to better engage shoppers.
Specifically, Ace used monthly mobile content that combined coupons and product promotions with shopper-support content like how-to videos and money-saving household tips.
“In late 2014,” a news release from FunMobilty explains, “the retailer’s mobile coupon CTR was 36%, with a redemption rate 10x that of their print offering.”
Linda Roark, voted Ace Hardware’s 2014 Dealer of the Year, praised Smart Shopper, saying FunMobility “truly helped us reach our business goals.”
So what exactly is all the fuss about with regard to the Smart Shopper program?
In short, Smart Shopper is a new, full-service program enabling retailers to enhance in-store shopper marketing materials with mobile engagement.
