The microblogging giant known as Twitter has gained one of Zynga’s biggest talents.
According to a report today from Bloomberg, Zynga Treasurer Mike Gupta is taking a similar role at Twitter.
The move comes just as the social gaming giant “struggles to retain top managers amid slowing growth.”
Gupta, a former Yahoo! Inc. executive who joined Zynga in 2011, has been named Twitter’s vice president of corporate finance and treasurer, San Francisco-based Twitter said in an e- mailed statement.
Bloomberg adds that more than a half-dozen other senior executives have also left Zynga this year.
Representatives from Zynga won’t comment on the transition of Gupta from Zynga to Twitter, but we can confirm his new position at Twitter.
