Verizon Touts Greater Expansion of 4G LTE Network

Verizon – the largest wireless carrier in the United States by subscribers – announced that customers in new markets will soon have greater access to its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network.

The expansion will next continue in the Cincinnati area, when the network will expand on August 16.

Verizon Wireless currently offers the nation’s largest 4G LTE network with coverage available to more than 230 million people across the United States – nearly 75 percent of the U.S. population.

By year’s end, the company plans to cover more than 400 U.S. markets.

“We offer our customers the nation’s largest 4G LTE network, available in more markets than all other U.S. wireless providers combined,” said Mark Frazier, a regional executive with Verizon Wireless. “With our expanded 4G LTE network, customers can download files, upload pictures, stream video, and more, through a variety of 4G LTE devices, all with the fastest 4G experience possible.”
