As if you need yet another indicator that Apple’s iPhone 6 is coming soon, here’s one.
Online smartphone buyback service Gazelle is stepping up efforts to round up old iPhones ahead of the anticipated September release of the next-gen flagship iPhone.
According to Gazelle‘s refreshed pricing data, older model iPhones are now worth more than you might expect — in some cases, close to the $350 mark.
Gazelle says those looking to trade in their old iPhones can do so before September 9th to “lock in” the short-term offers posted by Gazelle.
September 9th is the date Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 6, with product rollout anticipated two to four weeks later.
According to Gazelle, however, even if you lock in your price by September 9th, you can still hang on to your device until October 10th, giving you adequate time to find a new iPhone 6.
