It wouldn’t be a new year without a least one corresponding smartphone glitch.
On Tuesday, January 1st, iPhone users around the country began reporting a peculiar problem. It turns out that the ‘Do Not Disturb’ feature that allows users to pause notifications for a defined period of time inexplicable stopped working as 2012 turned into 2013.
But why?
Apparently, there was a calendar-related glitch that sent the feature into fail status. But the fix couldn’t be easier. For those who experienced the problem, simply turning the Do Not Disturb bar from off to on again was all it took to restore proper functionality.
