More bad news for BlackBerry this week. The embattled Canadian smartphone marker is no longer in business with T-Mobile, the fourth largest wireless carrier in the United States.
T-Mobile will stop selling BlackBerry products later this month.
MMW has confirmed that all BlackBerry sales for T-Mobile subscribers will end April 25th. However, if you’re a BlackBerry owner currently on T-Mobile, you won’t be shut out. Customers will still have service and retain access to product support in the future.
Unfortunately, when BlackBerry owners on T-Mobile reach the end of their contracts, renewal will not be an option.
“Regretfully, at this time, our strategies are not complementary and we must act in the best interest of our BlackBerry customers,” BlackBerry CEO John Chen said Wednesday afternoon.
