Sprint’s 4G LTE Gets Another Push

Earlier this month, Sprint expanded its 4G LTE footprint to 28 more locations across the United States. This week, more key locations were added to the list.

On Monday, Sprint announced that it is offering 4G LTE in even more cities effective immediately.

Among the new locations are:

  • Austin, Texas
  • Boston, Massachusetts
  • Bryan, Texas
  • College Station, Texas
  • Columbia, Tennessee
  • Emporia, Kansas
  • Framingham, Massachusetts
  • Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
  • Aguadilla, Cabo Rojo, Isabela, and Mayagüez of Puerto Rico

Sprint, however, notes that customers in the listed Puerto Rico cities will not only have access to Sprint’s 4G LTE network, but also Sprint’s “improved” 3G services.

Sprint’s network buildout, known as Network Vision, not only delivers 4G LTE but also is expected to provide 3G customers better wireless signal strength, in-building coverage, and fewer dropped/blocked calls.

These 3G improvements are already available to customers in several cities across the U.S.
