On Wednesday, the third largest mobile carrier in the U.S., Sprint, announced the SprinTV app, which gives Sprint iPhone owners with unlimited data plans something to easily gobble up their data with.
This much talked about free application lets users watch select live and on-demand programming from a variety of partners, including ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, The Disney Channel, MTV and Comedy Central.
In addition to programming included at no cost, the Sprint TV App also offers access to more than 40 paid premium packages with popular shows including “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” “SpongeBob Squarepants” and “The Daily Show with John Stewart.”
The premium programming options are available in packages ranging from $4.99 to $9.99 per month.
The app, which was not anticipated to be so comprehensive, is quickly becoming a hot commodity today in the world of iPhone apps.
