New BlackBerry 10 Rumors Confirmed at CES

With just days remaining before Research in Motion lifts the veil on its new BlackBerry 10 line, some recent rumors are being confirmed.

According to Reuters, executives from AT&T and Verizon have all confirmed their respective coverage of BlackBerry 10 products.

Today at CES in Las Vegas, Lowell McAdam, chief executive of Verizon Communication, expressed optimism ahead of the release.

“We’re hopeful its going to be a good device,” McAdam said. “We’ll carry it.”

“It’s logical to expect our current (BlackBerry) customers will have the best BlackBerry devices to choose from in the future,” added AT&T handset executive Jeff Bradley.

Also emerging at CES today is coverage confirmation from No. 4 U.S. mobile provider T-Mobile USA.

“We’re extremely optimistic that it’s going to be a successful product and our business customers are extremely interested in it,” Chief Executive John Legere said, similarly confirming his network’s coverage of the new RIM devices.

BlackBerry 10 products will be formally unveiled January 30th.
