According to the findings of a new report from Nielsen, those who predominantly access Twitter via mobile are 1.2 times as likely to engage daily as average users.
While close to 60% of users access the platform multiple times daily, mobile is still the primary gateway to the microblog.
It was discovered that 80 per cent use Twitter on their smartphone, while 70 per cent say that mobile is the main way that they access and use the social platform.
“There was also good news for marketers,” The Drum reported in response to the published data, “as it was discovered that 62 per cent follow brands and that one in four use Twitter whilst shopping.”
