On Friday, Millennial Media published its latest S.M.A.R.T. report. And, as always, the leading independent advertising platform company is sharing some fascinating insights.
The December report presents some interesting info on vertical spending. Incredibly, Millennial Media reports, ten different verticals grew spend by over 100 percent year-over-year.
The vertical with the biggest growth was the Automotive vertical, which saw spend explode by 574 percent.
Largely led by the November election, the Government Services vertical grew ad spend by almost 300 percent on Millennial Media’s platform.
Telecom was the leading vertical on the platform, however, a position it has held for the first nine months of 2012.
“The three leading campaign goals on our platform were focused on driving sustained in-market presence, site traffic and registrations,” Millennial reveals. “Over a quarter of the campaigns on our platform utilized a social media post-click action.”
