Microsoft Ventures Stretches Its Neck Out for SkyGiraffeSkyGiraffe, a new venture that provides a platform to extend on-premise enterprise systems directly to mobile devices, is getting some financial support from a force like no other in the tech space – Microsoft.

SkyGiraffe announced today that it has received a strategic investment from Microsoft Ventures.

This marks the first fund announcement from Microsoft Ventures, and will enable SkyGiraffe to further its mission of empowering organizations to efficiently provide enterprise-grade mobile apps to their workforce.

Given the increased usage of smartphones and tablets in the workforce, implementing operational mobile apps have become a strategic priority for enterprise companies.
