If you don’t have a smartphone, tablet or PC, you will no longer be able to enjoy Macworld Magazine, the legendary publication covering all things Apple.
Macworld Magazine has announced the cessation of its print publication. Consequently, the venerable Mac-centric monthly publication was compelled to relinquish a number of longtime staffers.
“Unfortunately, many of my colleagues lost their jobs today,” says Jason Snell, editorial director for Macworld. “If there’s anything I can do to help them, I will. I have had time to plan for this day, but they haven’t. You probably know some of them. Please join with me in giving them sympathy and support.”
Moving forward, the magazine will continue as a digital-only publication.
Macworld Editor Dan Miller tweeted this week that he is “personally here for another month to assist with the transition.”
