When Google’s Reader disappeared, one alternative service emerged ahead of the rest as a popular replacement – Feedly.
In recent days, Feedly thought the time was right to introduce a premium subscription service to all users.
The new features give users access to the hugely in-demand search function among other features in return for a relatively small monthly fee.
Following a limited 5,000 person test run earlier in August, Feedly Pro is available now for $5 per month or $45 per year.
The premium version gives users one-click saves to Pocket and Evernote, priority placement for support requests, HTTPS and the ability to search for articles within an RSS feed.
Feedly says it will be introducing new pro features regularly. Pro users will get to vote on which features should be developed next.
