Football fans are enjoying the power of mobile perhaps to a greater extent than fans of any other sport, as the NFL continues to embrace mobile at an exceptional rate.
As the 2012 NFL Draft, scheduled to begin April 26th, rapidly approaches, Verizon and the NFL will make all rounds of the draft available through the mobile channel live over the three day draft period.
Those on smartphones with NFL Mobile Premium can watch NFL Network and see all of the action broadcast live.
Fans will be able to access several cool features in NFL Mobile, including detailed prospect bios, stats and videos. Want to know how fast a prospect runs the 40-yard dash or how much can he bench press? Check out 2012 Scouting Combine results. It’s all there.
As the draft progresses, fans can see each pick, one by one, via the detailed draft tracker on the home screen. And if you’re a text fanatic, you’re in luck. NFL Mobile also sends text alerts to fans letting them know who their favorite team selected, along with links to several blogs featuring well-known draft analysts.
